AEROSTRIP® Type T

AEROSTRIP® Type T is an AQUACONSULT series of plate-type membrane diffusers for fine-bubble aeration in municipal and industrial biological wastewater treatment. The series includes versions with different diffuser lengths and active surface areas; the required configuration is selected according to design airflow and project conditions.

The diffuser produces fine air bubbles through a perforated polyurethane membrane. This aeration method supplies oxygen to wastewater and supports biological treatment processes in activated-sludge tanks and other biological treatment systems.

Type T construction

• base plate, retaining components and air inlet made from 316Ti or 316L stainless steel;

• replaceable polyurethane PUR membrane;

• SBR sealing ring;

• G1 male threaded air connection according to DIN 228-1;

• replaceable membrane design.

The series is available in lengths from 1000 to 4000 mm. Depending on length, diffuser area ranges from 0.18 to 0.70 m² and the optimum airflow range extends from 1.8–14 to 7–56 Nm³/h. These values apply to different Type T variants and must not be interpreted as the specifications of one universal model.

AQUACONSULT recommends AEROSTRIP® Type T for application temperatures below 35 °C. The exact variant, number of diffusers and airflow conditions must be selected by project-specific aeration design.
