OTT D-REX® disc diffusers

D-REX® is an OTT series of disc membrane diffusers for fine-bubble aeration in biological wastewater treatment. The D-REX® series is available in several versions and configurations; the appropriate option is selected according to operating conditions and project requirements.

Air enters below the membrane and passes through its perforations, producing fine bubbles in the water. The diffusers provide oxygen transfer and support biological processes in activated-sludge tanks and other wastewater treatment systems.

D-REX® construction

• 276 mm outside diameter;

• 0.055 m² membrane surface;

• glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene base plate;

• stainless-steel-free construction;

• FLEXLON®, FLEXNORM® and FLEXSIL® membrane options;

• standard ¾-inch BSP internal threaded connection;

• adapters available for round and rectangular air headers.

Membrane type and connection arrangement must be selected according to wastewater composition, operating conditions, pipe material and project requirements. Diffuser capacity and quantity must be determined by aeration-system design.
