HUBER Disc Filter RoDisc®

HUBER Disc Filter RoDisc® is used for fine disc microfiltration after the main treatment stages. Vertical filter discs provide a large active surface in a compact unit and retain fine suspended solids on the submerged filter surfaces.

Water passes through the disc mesh while particles remain on the filter surface. When the cloth is loaded, the discs rotate into the cleaning zone, where jets of filtered water remove the accumulated layer and discharge it to a trough.

• suitable for tertiary wastewater treatment;

• also applicable to fine filtration of drinking water and process water;

• disc count and mesh size are selected according to flow and filtrate quality.

RoDisc® is available in several configurations; final filtration area, hydraulic loading and backwash operation are determined by project design.
