FSM Grit Wash Unit

FSM Grit Wash Unit is used for intensive washing of contaminated grit and separation of organic matter from the mineral fraction. It is installed downstream of grit chambers and other grit-removal processes.
During washing, grit is mixed with water so organic material is detached from mineral particles and removed with the liquid phase. The washed mineral fraction is then dewatered and discharged.
The unit is used at municipal and industrial wastewater plants where low organic content and reduced odor are required. Capacity is selected for the project.
