FSM Sludge Screen is an enclosed in-pipe unit for screening and subsequent compaction of sludge. Feed enters under pressure through a flange, allowing direct integration into pipework.
Inside the cylindrical housing, a screen and screw retain and convey solids into a compression and dewatering zone. Backpressure is generated by an adjustable outlet cone.
The unit improves the reliability of downstream sludge thickening, stabilization, dewatering and drying. No additional service water is required for screen cleaning.
