HUBER Screw Press Q-PRESS®

HUBER Screw Press Q-PRESS® dewaters sludge using a slowly rotating screw and a cylindrical screen section. Q-PRESS® is a separate screw-press series and is selected independently from S-PRESS®.

Conditioned sludge enters the press, where the liquid phase separates through the screen surface. Toward the discharge end, pressure increases, the material is compacted and dewatered cake leaves the unit.

Q-PRESS® is selected separately from S-PRESS: the choice depends on required throughput, sludge composition, conditioning and automation level.
