HUBER Rotary Screw Thickener S-DRUM (RoS2)

HUBER Rotary Screw Thickener S-DRUM (RoS2) thickens sludge before downstream dewatering, stabilisation or digestion. The RoS2 designation is used for this S-DRUM line.

Flocculated sludge enters the drum or screw section, where a slowly rotating screw moves the material along the filter surface. Free water separates as filtrate, and thickened sludge leaves with increased dry-solids concentration.

• polymer conditioning is applied according to sludge properties and the selected operating mode;
