TrojanUVFlex — Wastewater is a series of closed-vessel UV systems from Trojan Technologies for filtered tertiary effluent and non-potable reuse applications. The system is installed directly in process piping and delivers high-intensity UV treatment in a compact chamber.
The family comprises two principal configurations: TrojanUVFlex 100 Series and TrojanUVFlex 200 Series. Both use low-pressure, high-output TrojanUV Solo Lamp technology with electronic variable power from 30 to 100%.
The 100 Series uses 500 W lamps, a DN900 flange and has a maximum pressure rating of 10 bar. The 200 Series uses 1000 W lamps, a DN1200 flange and has a maximum pressure rating of 6 bar.
Both chamber versions are manufactured from 2205 duplex stainless steel. Lamps are arranged perpendicular to the flow, and independently operated lamp sections can be switched on or off as treatment conditions change.
Chambers can be installed horizontally or vertically and can be configured with additional banks to accommodate future treatment capacity. Optional mechanical quartz-sleeve cleaning is available.
The system supports EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU RS485. The final series, number of banks and equipment configuration are selected according to process flow and project requirements.
