TrojanUVSigna
Manufacturer: TrojanUV
Country: Canada
TrojanUVSigna is a series of open-channel UV systems from Trojan Technologies for municipal wastewater disinfection. The system treats wastewater with ultraviolet light without chemical disinfectants and can be configured for different channel depths, flow conditions and project requirements.
TrojanUVSigna uses 1000 W TrojanUV Solo Lamp amalgam lamps. Lamp power is adjustable from 30 to 100% in 1% increments, allowing UV output to follow changing operating conditions.
The series is available with two, four or six rows of lamps arranged in a staggered, inclined array. This configuration allows the system to be adapted to different channel geometries and required treatment capacities.
Automatic ActiClean chemical/mechanical cleaning maintains quartz-sleeve cleanliness. Each bank is equipped with a UV intensity sensor with automatic chemical cleaning, while the Automatic Raising Mechanism (ARM) supports bank lifting during maintenance.
Water level can be controlled using a fixed weir or motorized weir gate, with high- and low-water-level sensors also available. The number of banks, lamp arrangement and final system configuration are determined during project-specific design.
