HUBER Dissolved Air Flotation Plant HDF
Manufacturer: HUBER Technology
Country: Germany
HUBER Dissolved Air Flotation Plant HDF removes suspended solids, fats and flocs by dissolved air flotation. It is a physical-chemical separation process in which fine air bubbles lift contaminants to the surface.
A portion of treated water returns as a recycle stream, is pressurised and saturated with air, and is then released into the flotation zone. Pressure release creates microbubbles that attach to particles and carry them upward.
The floated sludge is removed from the surface while clarified water leaves the plant. Chemical conditioning and reagent dosing are applied according to water composition and the selected process arrangement.
dissolved air flotation for municipal and industrial wastewater;
removal of suspended solids, fats and flocs;
HDF and HDF S variants differ in capacity and configuration.
Hydraulic loading, solids loading, recycle pressure and capacity depend on the selected configuration.
