HUBER sludge and septage acceptance plants

HUBER sludge and septage acceptance plants receive sludge delivered by tanker trucks. The plants provide preliminary mechanical treatment of faecal or septic sludge before it is transferred to the treatment works.

The incoming flow passes through the receiving unit, where coarse solids and foreign objects are removed. Depending on the selected system, screenings washing and compaction, flow measurement, vehicle identification and organised solids discharge may be included.
