Integrated treatment is required when the target water quality cannot be achieved by a single process stage. A treatment train may combine mechanical pretreatment, grit and screenings removal, physicochemical processes, filtration, membrane technologies, sludge handling and other stages.
The final configuration depends on wastewater characteristics, required capacity and regulatory or process requirements for the treated water. KST Water approaches the plant as one connected process system in which individual units are selected to work together.
