Industrial UV Water Disinfection

Ultraviolet disinfection is used in industrial systems where microbiological load must be reduced without dosing a chemical disinfectant directly into the treated water.

Industrial applications require consideration of flow rate, water quality upstream of the UV stage, required dose, hydraulic conditions and operating environment. UV equipment may be used in drinking-water preparation, process water, water reuse and other applications requiring a controlled disinfection step.
