Activated Carbon Water Filtration

Activated carbon is used in water treatment as an adsorptive medium. It can retain a range of organic compounds and other substances that may affect odour, taste and overall water quality.

Carbon filtration is normally used after preliminary removal of suspended solids and may form one stage of a complete treatment system. The carbon media and filter configuration are selected according to incoming water composition and the required treatment result.
