From 13 to 17 May 2019, representatives of KST-Water visited AQUACONSULT Anlagenbau GmbH in Austria.
The purpose of the visit was to learn about AQUACONSULT's new products, including the high-performance PHOENIX membrane for AEROSTRIP® diffusers, and to receive training on the product range and tools used to calculate and select aeration systems.
During the visit, the parties discussed further cooperation in Kazakhstan and joint activities to promote AQUACONSULT solutions under the AEROSTRIP® brand.
At the time of publication, KST-Water represented AQUACONSULT solutions in Kazakhstan. AEROSTRIP® systems were in use at more than 2,000 wastewater treatment plants worldwide. The manufacturer stated a service life of up to 15 years for its polyurethane membranes and, in some cases, up to 20 years. Their high oxygen-transfer efficiency can reduce the energy required for aeration; actual savings depend on the design and operating conditions of each facility.
