Yaroslavsky Broiler, one of the largest poultry producers in Yaroslavl Region, is a major driver of development across the Rybinsk District. In addition to a complete reconstruction of the district’s water-supply system, Yaroslavsky Broiler is reconstructing the wastewater treatment facilities. KST-water is the general contractor.
The reconstructed treatment facilities are intended to treat municipal wastewater from several nearby settlements as well as industrial wastewater from the poultry farm itself and the pig-breeding complex.
Given the uneven wastewater inflow and its complex composition, a biological treatment process using sequencing batch reactors (SBR) was selected.
